Come learn about Moving Traditions, a nationally recognized, year long program for high school students (9th and 10th graders) wanting a bit more depth and exploration of values in their lives. The Boulder Jewish Teen Initiative is partnering with Moving Traditions to launch two new community groups in the Fall of 2017! Each group is gendered, Shevet Achim for students who identify as male, and Rosh Hodesh, for students who identify as female. Each group meets independently each month with a facilitator to explore concepts of Manhood/Womanhood through Jewish lenses and with discussions including current affairs.
Our info night will be for both parents and students interested in participating in this year long curriculum. Students will break into their gendered groups and participate in a sample session for an hour. Parents will sit with Jen Kraft, the Colorado Moving Traditions director to hear more about this fantastic program and the impact it has had on its participants.
