FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why should I attend BJTI events?
BJTI is a home for you to connect with other Jewish teens in the Boulder area, learn new skills, and participate in activities that interest you. Our events will introduce you to a great group of Jewish teens in a fun, relaxed, and social atmosphere. Through BJTI you can also gain access to incredible national organizations, build up your college resume and, if you are inclined, take on a leadership position within the organization.

Where do BJTI activities take place?
Our NaviG8 program and Teen Advisory Board meet at the Boulder Jewish Community Center. Our High School Jewish Culture Clubs are held throughout area high schools.  Occasionally we host other events at the Boulder Jewish Community Center or trendy spots around town.

When do BJTI activities take place?
When don’t BJTI activities happen?! Check out our monthly calendar to see all the great activities happening throughout the year. Our Jewish Culture Clubs meet regularly depending on the school (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly); NaviG8 meets weekly, and the Teen Advisory Board meets once a month.

How much does it cost?
The majority of our events are free to attend, thanks to our generous funders.  However, some of our specific events or classes have tuition associated with supply needs or ticket costs. On the Program page you will see descriptions for each activity and if there is a fee involved.

At what age can I attend BJTI events?
If you are in grades 8-12 come join our BJTI family!

Am I Jewish enough to attend BJTI activities?
If you self identify as Jewish then you’re in the right place! Our clubs are open to student of any background, religion, or identity.  No previous affiliation or formal Jewish education is necessary, just the excitement to be a part of something great!
