BBYO (B’Nai B’rith Youth Organization)
BBYO’s pluralistic movement of Jewish teens, alumni, parents, volunteers and philanthropists will serve as the Jewish community’s most valuable platform for delivering to the post- Bar/Bat Mitzvah audience fun, meaningful and affordable experiences that inspirea lasting connection to the Jewish people.
Overview: BBYO is the leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewishteens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. For more than 80 years, BBYO has provided exceptional identity enrichment and leadership development experiences for hundreds of thousands of Jewish teens. The young women’s division is called BBG (B’nai B’rith Girls), while the young men’s division is AZA (Aleph Zadik Aleph). JCC Boulder Day Camps - Preschool Summer Camp
An enriching and playful experience where children explore nature, friendships, art, science, and music all through Jewish lenses.
Overview: Summer Camp at the JCC preschool is an enriching and playful experience for children ages 2.5 years – 5 years old (entering kindergarten). Campers explore nature, gardening, friendships, art, science, and music. During each session there are 2 special in-house field trips which further enhances their camp experience. Our summer teachers are skilled and creative early childhood educators who will facilitate a fun and stimulating experience for your child.
Eligibility: 2.5-5 years old (entering kindergarten).
Length: Half-day option from 9 am to 1 pm, an extended-day option from 9 am to 2:30 pm, and a full-day option from 9 am to 4 pm, with an early drop-in option from 8-9 am for an extra $5/day.
Preschool Camp has 2-day (T/Th), 3-day (M/W/F), 4-day (M/W/Th/F or M/T/W/F), or 5-day (M/T/W/Th/F) options!
JCC Boulder Day Camps - Specialty Summer Day Camps
Fun and educational weekly specialty camps including LEGO & robotics, cooking, gardening, sports, dance, science, art, leadership, and more.
Overview: The Boulder JCC offers a variety of specialty summer day camps throughout the summer for ages 3 – 12! These camps provide a wonderful opportunity for your child to spend a week or more focused on a specific area of interest in a fun and safe environment.
Eligibility: 3-12 years old
Length: One week sessions from June-August
JCC Denver Ranch Camp
JCC Ranch Camp provides a resident camping experience for youth that enables campers, staff and families to strengthen their Jewish identity, become more caring and responsible members of society, and connect with the natural world.
Overview: Since 1953, the JCC Ranch Camp has been creating Jewish memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Located in Colorado’s magnificent Black Forest, the Ranch Camp provides children with a truly western Jewish experience. Over the last 60 years of operation, JCC Ranch Camp has established a strong tradition of community that is built around and devoted to our campers. It is a place where life-long friendships are born, Jewish identities are discovered and nourished, and children are challenged to grow in mind, body and spirit.
Eligibility: Grade 2-11
Length: two week sessions from June-August
One day a year more than 11,000 Jewish teens form around the world come together to serve their communities and make a difference.
Overview: J-Serve is the International Day of Jewish Youth Service. Since 2005, J-Serve has been a part of Youth Service America’s Global Youth Service Day weekend. J-Serve provides teens with the opportunity to fulfill the Jewish values of gemilut chasidim, acts of loving kindness, tzedakah, just and charitable giving, and tikkum olam, the responsibility to repair the world. Across the globe, teens will join each other to make their community and the world a better place.
Eligibility: Grade 8-12
Length: One day a year, typically in April
Ramah of the Rockies
Ramah Outdoor Adventure will guide you toward discovering the serenity of the outdoors where, each week, we join together as one community to celebrate the traditions, spirituality and peace of Shabbat
Overview: Our mission is to provide outstanding outdoor adventure experiences that teach Jewish values and age appropriate leadership skills and influence the character development of Jewish youth. We do this through intense community building at base camp and on adventure trips.
Eligibility: Grade 3-12
Length: 3-week summer sessions from June-August
Maurice B. Shwayder Camp of Temple Emanuel
Shwayder Camp provides an environment that enables members of the camp community to create for themselves a meaningful Jewish life.
Overview: Since 1949, Shwayder Camp of Temple Emanuel has been enriching the lives of Jewish children. Our setting, in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains, is a unique place for spiritual growth and introspection. Shwayder Camp is a place to have fun, make friendships that last a lifetime, and enjoy a spectacular Colorado summer of what we call, “Shwayder Magic.”
